My Hero Academia The Movie: You're Next, the upcoming fourth movie based on the superhero shonen manga series by Kohei Horikoshi, has released a new trailer, new cast announcement, and a new visual. Officially announced in the Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 36-37, 2023 on August 7 last year, the title of the film was revealed on January 29, 2024, and it's scheduled to premiere on August 2, 2024 in Japan. In the movie, voice actor Kenta Miyake (the Japanese voice actor of All Might) will also voice the villainous Dark Might. You can watch the new trailer from TOHO's YouTube channel below:
The trailer puts the All Might doppelganger known as "Dark Might" in the spotlight, and as expected, it promises some intense scenes of Deku and friends trying to stop the new villain. Studio BONES is producing the animation of the movie, with Kenji Nagasaki directing it while Yosuke Kuroda is in charge of the screenplay, and Yoshihiko Umakoshi working on character designs. Series creator Kohei Horikoshi serves as the film's chief supervisor and author of the original work and character designs.
