Insomniac Games has released a new trailer for Marvel's Wolverine that focuses specifically on the alternate cosmetics players will be able to equip once the game is out. The studio, already known for the highly detailed character customization systems in Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man 2, is applying a similar approach here by giving Logan a wide range of visual options that draw from both comic history and original designs. This latest video provides the clearest look yet at how those suits appear during actual gameplay sequences rather than in static promotional art.
The newest video for Marvel's Wolverine highlights five different suits that will be available in the finished game. Three of the outfits come directly from Marvel comics and include the Age of Apocalypse suit, the New Leather suit, and the Incredible suit. Of the three comic-based designs, the Incredible suit stands out as the most recognizable because it matches the costume Wolverine wore during his first appearance in the pages of The Incredible Hulk issue #180. These designs have appeared at various points across decades of comic storytelling, and seeing them rendered in Insomniac’s engine gives a clear sense of how the team is translating classic looks into the game’s style.
The remaining two outfits shown in the trailer, the Savage suit and the Night Hunt suit, were created specifically for Marvel's Wolverine rather than being pulled from existing comics. The Night Hunt suit is notable for shifting the character’s traditional yellow color scheme over to a blue palette, creating a distinctly different silhouette. The Savage suit takes a different approach by changing Wolverine’s eye color to a dark red, which alters the overall intensity of his appearance during combat and exploration sequences.

These five suits are exclusive to the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game, which is priced at $79.99 rather than the standard edition’s $69.99. In addition to the alternate skins, the Digital Deluxe Edition includes four PlayStation avatars tied to Wolverine, four technique points that allow players to unlock abilities earlier in the campaign, and the ability to access the Classic Brown suit sooner than would be possible through regular progression. The combination of exclusive cosmetics and progression advantages is consistent with how Insomniac has structured premium editions for its previous Marvel titles.
Marvel's Wolverine launches exclusively on PlayStation 5 on September 15, 2026, giving players roughly a month to decide between the standard and Digital Deluxe versions before the game becomes available. The September release positions the title as one of the major single-player action-adventure releases of the fall season on the platform, following Insomniac’s established track record with its Spider-Man series. Pre-orders for both editions remain open on the PlayStation Store for those who want the additional content available from the start.
