Disney and Marvel Studios released the first trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine this past weekend during the Super Bowl, showcasing suprising footage loaded with Marvel Easter Eggs. The trailer confirmed the return of Aaron Stanford's Pyro and a member of the X-Force. As expected, the hype around the only MCU movie coming this year didn't halt with just its official marketing. The official social media account for Disney Plus's Loki series also joined in the hype.
Right after the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer was released, the Instagram account of Loki started messaging followers an image of the screens at a Time Variance Authority facility along with the link to the trailer. Check out the image via the Marvel Studios Spoilers subreddit:
If you've seen the trailer, you already know that the TVA will play an important part of Deadpool & Wolverine's plot. Around the time Disney Plus was premiering new episodes of Loki Season 2, rumors about the the TVA's involvement in the third Deadpool movie already were already circulating, so fans shouldn't be surprised to see Loki's connection with the upcoming movie. However, it's unlikely that we will see Tom Hiddleston's Loki appear in Deadpool & Wolverine, but we can expect more surprising cameos that we haven't seen in the first trailer.
Who will be in Deadpool & Wolverine?
Joining Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman as the titular characters, actors from previous Deadpool films are expected to return, including Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Stefan Kapičić as Colossus, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Rob Delaney as Peter.
