The premiere of Loki Season 2 is still a little over a month away but the Marvel Cinematic Universe series just dropped an awesome surprise for Labor Day. A new teaser for the Disney+ show confirms that Sylvie will be reuniting with Tom Hiddleston's God of Mischief. In addition to that, it looks like she will be working with the Time Variance Authority crew!
Loki Season 2 dropped the new teaser which opens with a tearful God of Mischief confessing to ... someone. It also looks like he's done this before and this could be an ongoing theme ever since what happened in the first season. Although it is unclear who Loki is speaking to, there's a huge chance he's opening up (again) to Sylvie, who isn't impressed with what's happening to the TVA right now. "Everything is turning to sh-t," she declares, to which Mobius replies, "That's right."
We get a lot of timeskipping again in the teaser courtesy of the permanently glitching Loki, and that's not the only problem presented in the video. There's another glimpse at the Kang Variant known as Victor Timely but it's mostly from the same scene we've seen in the trailer. Hopefully, this doesn't mean that Jonathan Majors will only appear in one scene before bouncing away to another MCU project.
It's a truly exciting glimpse at things to come especially now that we know Sylvie will be reunited with Loki. In fact, the two are shown working together to take on an opponent and at one point, Sylvie appears to be supporting the God of Mischief as the rest of the TVA crew join them. With that in mind, we can't wait to see what will happen in the second season.
Loki Season 2 will bring back Tom Hiddleston as the God of Mischief, Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Renslayer, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, Eugene Cordero as Casey, Tara Strong as Miss Minutes, Jonathan Majors, and Owen Wilson as Mobius. They will be joined by Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, and Ke Huy Quan. The second season will premiere on Disney+ on October 6, 2023.
