Netflix has released the main trailer and poster for the upcoming romantic comedy Our Sticky Love, which stars Jung Hae-in and Ha Young. The series is set to premiere on August 7 and centers on an unexpected pairing that unfolds in a quiet rural town. Jung Hae-in plays Jang Tae-ha, a boxing coach, while Ha Young takes on the role of Go Eun-sae, a prosecutor who has lost her memory.

The main trailer opens with a look at the pair’s rocky start in the Taffy Village of Gujin-gun. Go Eun-sae regains consciousness inside an unfamiliar hospital in the countryside and discovers that every one of her memories has vanished. Almost immediately, Jang Tae-ha arrives and quietly introduces himself as her boyfriend. His rough, unpolished look sits far outside the preferences she once held, and the peaceful streets filled with traditional taffy shops plus the odd local residents leave her feeling completely out of place. Confusion and doubt keep her from accepting a single word he says.

Even so, Jang Tae-ha’s consistent kindness and open affection gradually chip away at the walls she has built. His sincere compliments leave Go Eun-sae visibly flustered, and she finds herself smiling more often in his company than she expects. Just when a softer connection appears possible, he delivers a firm warning that their relationship must stay completely hidden from everyone around them. The caution raises new questions about the secret he is protecting, why her safety supposedly depends on remaining at his side, and the real reason the two of them became bound together so tightly.

What is Our Sticky Love about?

Our Sticky Love follows ambitious prosecutor Go Eun-sae after she loses her memory and ends up living with Jang Tae-ha, the small-town boxing coach who insists he is her boyfriend. Their forced cohabitation in a rural community full of traditional candy shops slowly turns into an awkward yet sweet connection, all while larger secrets and outside threats linger in the background.

Director Kim Jang-han describes the project this way: “It’s a heart-warming, feel-good romantic comedy.” He continues, “It’s a story about building love that binds two people as tightly as sticky, sweet Korean taffy. The series’ irresistible charm will leave you unable to pull yourself away, just like getting stuck to Korean taffy before you even realize it.”
