John Wick Director Chad Stahelski Says He Wants To Make a Star Wars Movie

John Wick director Chad Stahelski calls upon Disney to call him up because he's open to create a Star Wars film.

For almost half a century, Star Wars has made its name a staple in various forms of media such as movies, series, games, and even toys. It all started with the films that made Star Wars a huge phenomenon that made it one of the biggest names in the industry to the point that it does not need searching for people to work on the projects, but rather, the people are coming to offer themselves just to be part of the galaxy far, far away. This is true even to A-list directors in Hollywood like John Wick director, Chad Stahelski, who expressed his willingness to create a Star Wars movie.

Star Wars made a huge name for itself and it all started with the vision of George Lucas that even almost after half a century, the franchise remains strong and it keeps getting stronger. Many actors and directors look up to the franchise and one of those is the director of the John Wick movies, Chad Stahelski who revealed in a recent interview with Josh Horowitz how huge of a Star Wars fan he is and he calls on Disney with ideas for the franchise:

I'm a Star Wars guy. The first Star Wars changed my life path. Maybe someday out there, Disney if you're listening, hit me in a couple of years. I have a couple of takes for Star Wars. I'd take a swing at that, see if Disney could survive me.

So far, Lucasfilm is not rushing things and the franchise is on a steady pace with its releases but so far, in the last half decade, it is the Disney Plus shows that has been doing the work for Star Wars. Movies are yet to return to the big screens and having directors like Chad Stahelski interested in working on a Star Wars film shows a huge opportunity for Lucasfilm and Disney to take.
