Grand Theft Auto Online just received a brand new update that gives players new discounts and access to a new vehicle. Of course, fans of the popular videogame franchise would rather get news about Grand Theft Auto VI from Rockstar Games, but since it's already 2024, we're only officially a year away from its launch on current-gen consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S), so we can expect a second trailer and more previews to arrive later this year. For now, the developer is continuing to support Grand Theft Auto V as new updates for its online gameplay continue to roll.
Rockstar Games still hasn't revealed its plans for GTA Online after GTA 6 launches next year, but it wouldn't be surprising if this is the final year for traditional support for the game. It's likely that the developer will shift all of its focus and resources to its next big game as it ramps up to launch.
With that said, the developer released the latest weekly update for GTA Online, and it includes a brand new SUV called the Albany Cavalcade XL, which is now available for players to purchase in the game. Players can purchase the new vehicle at the Southern San Andreas Super Autos, but if you're a GTA+ Member, you can get it for free. In addition, the update also comes with new Salvage Yard robbery vehicles, various bonuses on different activities in GTA Online, and a bunch of discounts on weapons and vehicles across the game.
