Rockstar Games gave its Christmas present three weeks early to fans by officially releasing the GTA 6 trailer, giving them their first look at the highly anticipated game. During this entire time, fans have already watched the trailer over 160 million times, helping it break three separate Guinness World Records in the first 24 hours of its release. It looks like 160 million times was enough for them to recreate the footage in nearly every game and style ever to exist.
Initially, fans started recreating the GTA 6 trailer in previous Grand Theft Auto games. User RavenwestR1 used a wide range of mods in order to replicate all of the major scenes from the trailer in GTA 5. Not only this, but the user has also used Michael de Santa, Trevor Philips, and Franklin Clinton to make cameos as Vice City’s random denizens. You can watch the video below:
Once that was done and dusted, we saw GTA 6 taking place in Liberty City and featured the GTA 4 protagonist. Are you wondering what it looked like? Check out the video below to know:
Now that GTA 5, GTA 4, and GTA 3 were covered, all that was left was GTA: San Andreas, so you can watch how that would look like below:
Rockstar Games’ second-most popular series, Red Dead Redemption 2, also jumped on this particular bandwagon. Fans truly went all out by recreating the GTA 6 trailer in different games. You can watch the video below:
Stepping out of the Rockstar world, fans delved into the Saints Row series, which was one of GTA's most famous and successful competitors. This is why it makes sense to see the GTA 6 trailer getting recreated in Saints Row 2:
From here on out, we get to see every type of game, from battle royale games to RPGs to shooter games, you name it! Here’s a look at the GTA 6 trailer in the world of Fortnite:
Don’t worry, Minecraft is also in the mix:
How could we leave The Sims 4 behind?
GTA fans haven’t left Garry’s Mod out of the mix either:
However, one of the most impressive recreations of the GTA 6 trailer is made in actual LEO in the style of stop-motion. You can view it below:
Once games got boring, fans shifted to transporting the trailer back in time by using different methods, including graphics modeled after the original PlayStation. You can watch it below:

Interestingly, the GTA 6 trailer is quite recognizable in all styles and formats. If there’s nothing, then Tom Petty’s music is a dead giveaway, which has earned plenty of fame after the song was used in the game’s trailer.
When might the second GTA 6 trailer come out?
Now that the first trailer has hyped fans up for the upcoming game, we cannot wait to get another look at the game’s second trailer. One look just wasn’t enough to quench our thirst! Unfortunately, it looks like Rockstar does not plan on releasing GTA 6 Trailer 2 for another year or so. Based on the time that Rockstar took to release the second trailer of previous games, reputable leaker Tom Henderson claims the developer might release GTA 6’s second trailer by September 2024.
The most likely window seems to be either early or mid-2024, which is plenty of time for the developers to add cars and other vehicles to the game. That might also give them enough time to provide us with a proper release date since, currently, we only have the 2025 release window and the platforms the game will launch on. Let’s hope it’s much sooner than expected!
GTA 6 is set to come out in 2025 on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
