Rockstar Games sure is having its fair share of fun, keeping fans deprived of any sort of details regarding GTA 6. The anticipation for the game now has fans using the moon to predict when the upcoming Grand Theft Auto game might be released. It has been over ten years since the release of GTA 5, and fans are starting to get more eager for the next installment with each day.

Not only this, but conspiracy theories about when we might get our first glimpse of GTA 6 have also been increasing. The most recent speculation is one of the most peculiar and creative ones we have come across yet. It comes from the Rockstar Games official X account, as they posted a picture as part of the latest GTA Online Update.

The image features two characters wearing red Happy Moon Tees, which gamers can get by participating in the Moon Festival. However, apart from simply being a promotional picture for the GTA Online Update, many players think that this image holds within it the answer to when the much-anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 might be revealed.

A popular GTA leaker called @GTAVInewz highlighted all the different reasons why GTA 6 might get announced on October 3, 2023, Tuesday. Their post shows that the image on the left, i.e., the popular Vinewood sign, is blocked in such a way that just the letters V and I can be seen. Once you put the two letters together, they spell six in Roman Numerals, which might be a secret hint Rockstar might be trying to give about the next GTA installment.

The post also highlights a bunch of other clues in the picture, which aren’t that obvious. One of them is that both Rockstar games, Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption, mostly end up getting announced and released on Tuesdays, and most of them in October only. For example, Red Dead Redemption 2 was launched on Tuesday, October 28, 2016, while also getting our first look at GTA 6 on Tuesday, October 25, 2011.

Next up from the picture, we have the moon in the background, which according to @Dirty_Worka’s tweet, is in the Waning Gibbous phase. The user shares that the moon is currently in this particular phase in real life as well. The user says, "Rockstar really does like hiding stuff in plain sight and they're a very clever bunch. Part of me wouldn't be surprised if they did something like this."

If any of these theories and speculations do turn out to be true, then GTA 6’s big announcement might be right around the corner. Regardless of that, the moon may not be the most reliable source when it comes to getting some news regarding GTA 6. So, it would be wise not to take any of this seriously since Rockstar hasn’t confirmed anything officially.
