The GTA 6 trailer introduced the new protagonist of the Grand Theft Auto games, Lucia, which brings the very first Latina woman to be the main character in the game. The groundbreaking trailer reached world records and it brought more hype to the upcoming game than ever. Just recently, the alleged actress behind Lucia in the game surfaced online and the fans remain skeptic on how uncanny the resemblance is between the character and the person allegedly playing the role in the upcoming game.
Before the release of the GTA 6 trailer, various leaks about the game were here and there as the internet scours for information after the decade-long drought on the game series. From the massive September leak which was confirmed by Rockstar Games, it was rumored that the actress behind Lucia, the main character of GTA 6, will be voiced by Alexandra Echavarri. The actress is no stranger to the Grand Theft Auto franchise as she already voiced a character named Lupe in GTA Online but Rockstar Games did not confirm her involvement. Now, another person surfaced online whose resemblance to the character is unmissable. Check the video below:
Dressing in the similar fashion as Lucia in the game, X user @MiiuMiu_ posted a video of herself with the caption, "Won’t say much. Can’t wait to say more soon…#GTA6 #GTAVI" In the clip, she imitates Lucia walking into a store with the black tank, red bandana on her neck, and hoop earrings. The resemblance is so uncanny, one could easily assume that she plays the character in the game, however, there remains no confirmation yet from Rockstar Games.
How did the fans react to the alleged GTA 6 Lucia actress' video?
The X account of the user is existing since 2019 and her location indicates she is from Miami, the same city which is the basis of Vice City, and on her bio is "Grand Theft Auto 6 Protagonist." Her posts are only few but those were mainly about GTA 6. These information brings different reactions from the fans online.
