'Florida Joker' Demands $1 Million From Rockstar Games After GTA 6 Trailer Seemingly Parodies Him for "Free Marketing"

The "Florida Joker" claims that a GTA 6 trailer character is inspired by him and he has been vocal about it.

The GTA 6 trailer broke world records when it came out a week ago ending a decade of drought among the fans of the game for the next installment of the series. The trailer featured various Florida tropes and people from the coastlines of the place to its depictions of viral clips from social media being in the fictionalized state called Leonida. One of those is a man sporting his purple hair and face tattoos with a resemblance to the "Florida Joker" and the real-life "Florida Joker" acknowledges this fact on his Tiktok account. Recently, he demanded $1million from Rockstar Games for "free marketing."

Lawrence Sullivan got an overnight fame for being dubbed as the "Florida Joker" after his 2017 mugshot went viral featuring his colorful array of face tattoos. When the GTA 6 trailer dropped, it featured a man similar to him and Sullivan immediately recognized his resemblance to the trailer character. In his recent post on TikTok, he demanded a million or two from Rockstar Games for "free marketing" as he claims that the game used his likeness without his permission. Check out his clip below:

Sullivan's most recent post on TikTok showed that he dyed his hair purple and he wore an orange shirt which made his look more similar to the GTA 6 trailer character. Check his latest TikTok video below:

Given the striking resemblance of the character from Sullivan, his name surfaced once more on social media after his viral mugshot in the past. In one of his TikTok videos, he even said, "Florida Joker ain't having that. Y'all took my likeness, Y'all took my life."

What other Florida references are in the GTA 6 trailer?

The GTA 6 trailer has Florida references all over the clip which were depicted in a similar way as the viral clips and memes. There's the rich man on a yacht who fans speculate to be Jeff Bezos, the alligators being pulled out from a pool and doing some shopping at a store, the twerking woman on top of a moving car, and the "Florida Man" who was gardening his lawn naked. There was the insane Florida Karen, too, with the two hammers, and as mentioned above, the man who has a resemblance to the "Florida Joker."

GTA 6 will be set in the fictionalized state of Leonida, inspired by Florida which is why there were a ton of Florida references across the trailer. The trailer also featured the main protagonists of the game, Jason and Lucia, while the song Love is a Long Road by Tom Petty plays at the background.
