Take a Hike! is a self-hiking variety program that follows four involuntary hikers on their first-ever expedition up a snow-covered mountain. Directed by Na Young-suk and Park Hyun-yong, the series captures the group as they confront the realities of steep climbs, freezing temperatures, and the pure effort of using only their own feet. The four celebrities form an unlikely hiking club and attempt to understand why anyone would willingly head into the mountains in the first place.
The newly released teaser opens with the cast reciting a mountaineer’s oath, pledging to embrace nature, push through difficulties with passion and cooperation, and never give up. That determined energy quickly dissolves once the harsh conditions of the snowy Korean peaks set in. Car, the Garden later reflects on the experience with a dry sense of humor, noting that he really likes the show—except for the actual hiking.
