There is still so much to unpack from Ahsoka Episode 4 and we're finding new things at every rewatch. For some Star Wars fans, even the smallest detail counts and that's exactly how they found a heartbreaking one in Hera Syndulla's cockpit.

In Ahsoka Episode 4, Hera decides to lead a small fleet of New Republic fighters to Seatos although she didn't receive permission to leave. It is revealed that she has been joined by Carson Teva, who previously appeared in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. One of the pilots also happened to be played by Din Djarin stand-in Brendan Wayne, who portrayed Lieutenant Lander.

But that's not the only big surprise as the fleet leaves for Seatos. A brief shot into the Ghost cockpit reveals a small photograph of Jacen Syndulla's father, the late Kanan Jarrus.

It's a tiny almost obscure detail but Star Wars fans were able to spot it right away. In addition to that, the photo makes Kanan look like actor Freddie Prinze Jr., who provided the voice of the Jedi in Star Wars Rebels.

Who is Kanan Jarrus?

Kanan was originally introduced in Star Wars Rebels as the Jedi who had joined the Ghost crew. After letting the Force-sensitive Ezra Bridger work with the crew, Kanan ultimately decides to train the boy as a Jedi. Kanan also appeared as a child in Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 where it was revealed how he lost his Master Depa Billaba when he was still a Padawan. He died in the Rebels episode Jedi Night in a move to save the Ghost crew from dying in a fuel tank explosion.

Although the events in Ahsoka take place after Kanan's death, it is clear that his memory continues to be a part of the story. With that in mind, we can't wait to see more amazing Easter eggs and references in the Star Wars series.
