The fourth episode of Ahsoka is finally here and as expected, we got tons of action this week. In addition to that, there were several surprises in Episode 4 as we got to see two actors from The Mandalorian join the fight. Interestingly, one of them just happened to play Din Djarin in the other Star Wars series but dropped in for a completely new role!

In Ahsoka Episode 4, Hera Syndulla decides to commandeer a small fleet of New Republic fighters to join Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren, and Huyang in the search for Seatos. Not surprisingly, there is one familiar face among the pilots. Hera acknowledges Carson Teva, who had previously gone after Din Djarin in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.

It's great to see Paul Sun-Hyung Lee all over again since Carson Teva has become a fan favorite since he debuted in The Mandalorian. It's also notable that Lee is the second actor to appear in all three of the MandoVerse shows (the first would be Rosario Dawson's Ahsoka Tano).

But did you know that there's another Mandalorian actor in Ahsoka Episode 4 (other than Dawson, Lee, and Diana Inosanto, of course)? One of the pilots who joined Hera and Carson is Lieutenant Lander. The character is portrayed by Brendan Wayne, who serves as Pedro Pascal's on-set stand-in for Din Djarin in The Mandalorian. FUN FACT: Brendan Wayne is the grandson of the late actor John Wayne.

While cameos were aplenty in Ahsoka Episode 4, the show certainly saved the biggest (and most tear-jerking) one for last. As Ahsoka awakens in the World Between Worlds, she is greeted by Anakin Skywalker in the mystic plane.

Ahsoka Episode 4 certainly concluded on a major cliffhanger that left viewers with more questions than answers. The fourth episode is titled Fallen Jedi and is now available on Disney+. The fifth episode, which will be written and directed by Dave Filoni, is scheduled to premiere on the streaming service on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
