Two of the K-dramas Netflix released in May 2024 are now dominating its Global Top 10 non-English TV list, with The 8 Show sitting at No. 1 and The Atypical Family at No. 6. Now that Netflix has released the list of its new K-content for June 2024, several titles can potentially be the next big hits. As Hierarchy is gaining traction as the Korean Elite and Agents of Mystery seems to be the next The Devil’s Plan, here are the five new K-content coming to Netflix in June 2024.

1 Hierarchy
Hierarchy will tell the story of the elite students of the fictional Jooshin High School. Founded by South Korea’s top conglomerate, it prides itself on providing high-quality education, where only the top 0.01% of students, chosen from the moment they were born, can enter. But as dark secrets surround this prestigious school, they’re about to be revealed with the arrival of a transfer student.
Written by Chu Hye-mi and directed by Bae Hyeon-jin, the show will feature some of today's most talented young actors. It will see Roh Jeong-eui as Jung Jae-i, Lee Chae-min as Kang Ha, Kim Jae-won as Kim Ri-an, Ji Hye-won as Yoon He-ra, Lee Won-jung as Lee Woo-jin, and Kim Tae-jeong as Choi Yun-seok. The story of love, friendship, revenge, and compassion will unfold when the series hits Netflix on June 7.
2 Miss Night and Day
The unique story of Miss Night and Day will bring some fun and laughter. Fans will meet a job-seeker who gets into a mysterious incident that sees her age in her 50s. However, she will see herself return to her younger self when the night comes. After feeling exhausted from working various part-time jobs, she will use her youthfulness to her advantage to finally find the job she has always wanted.
The series is directed by Lee Hyeong-min and Choi Sun-min and written by Park Ji-ha. Lee Jung-eun, Jung Eun-ji, and Choi Jin-hyuk will be in the lead, as will Lim-soon, Lee Min-jin, and Gye Ji-woong, respectively. Miss Night and Day is set to release on JTBC and Netflix on June 15.
3 Agents of Mystery
In the unscripted series Agents of Mystery, six celebrity agents work together as a special team to solve strange cases and mysterious missions. The group is brought to secret sites made of large-scale set designs to face strange situations that are depicted as real-life incidents. Here, they have to combine their intellect to survive, though it remains to be seen what will happen if they don’t.
Produced by the great Jung Jong-yeon, who’s also behind The Devil’s Plan, The Genius, and The Great Escape, he teased the show would stand out after their extensive preparations surpassed the usual TV and movie standards. That said, Lee Yong-jin, John Park, Lee Eun-ji, Lee Hye-ri, Kim Do-hoon, and aespa’s Karina are ready to take on the challenge when the game begins on June 18.
4 The Whirlwind
Fans of political dramas are in for a treat in the upcoming The Whirlwind. The new K-drama will feature the political war between two powerhouses after the president's death. After the Prime Minister assassinates the President to turn the world upside down, the Deputy Prime Minister for economic affairs will do everything to stop him and seize power.
The series sees Park Kyung-soo (The Chaser, Punch, Whisper) return to the small screen after five years as a scriptwriter and Kim Yon-wan as the director. Sol Kyung-gu and Kim Hee-ae lead the series as Prime Minister Park Don-ho and Deputy Prime Minister Jeong Su-jin, respectively. The Whirlwind is set to release on June 28.
5 Brain Works
For some science-theme comedic investigative drama, Netflix will soon release Brain Works. The series tells the story of two men who work together to solve a criminal case that involves a rare brain disease despite being unable to stand each other.
Directed by Lee Jin-seo and Gu Seong-jun and written by Park Kyung-seon, it sees Jung Yong-hwa as Shin Ha-ru, Seo Woo-jin as the young Shin Ha-ru, Cha Tae-hyun as Geum Myung-se, Kwak Sun-young as Seol So-jung, and Ye Ji-won as Kim Mo-ran. The show originally aired on KBS2 from January 2 to February 28, 2023. Netflix has yet to reveal when it will be released.
