Netflix may have released some of its biggest series and movies in May 2024, but the streamer still has a lot in store for viewers for June 2024. Atlas is now the No. 1 movie in the world, while The Atypical Family sits at No. 2 of the streamer’s Top 10 non-English TV shows. However, that’s about to change when Netflix finally releases its possible next big hits, like Sweet Tooth Season 3, the new K-drama Hierarchy, Hit Man, Baki Hanma VS Kengan Ashura, and more. So, without further ado, here are the new movies and TV shows coming to Netflix in June 2024.
Gus is about to take his final journey in Sweet Tooth Season 3. However, this time, he will be accompanied by Jepperd and his fellow hybrids in Alaska to find his mother, Birdie. And though Dr. Singh has his opinions about Gus and his role in reversing the virus, he will still join the group in the Last Frontier as they face the threat of Helen Zhang, her daughter, Rosie, and the ferocious Wolf Boys.
Of course, there will also be something for anime fans. Baki Hanma VS Kengan Ashura will feature the epic crossover of two Netflix anime series. The fan-favorites Baki Hanma and Tokita "Ashura" Ohma are about to face each other in an underground arena. As the two titans of martial arts manga, viewers can expect to witness an extreme fight in this unlikely alliance between the biggest underground fighting organizations.
For K-drama lovers, Hierarchy will feature a fresh take on the high school drama genre. Already being dubbed the South Korean version of the TV series Elite, it will see the promising new actors of today take on the roles of the high school students of the prestigious Jooshin High School. Though only the top 0.01% of students control the law and order of this school, the arrival of a secretive transfer student is about to change everything.
Prepare for a different kind of comedy in Richard Linklater’s Hit Man. The highly anticipated movie will see Glen Powell taking on the role of the fake hitman Gary Johnson while Adria Arjona will portray his prospective client, Madison. Though a romantic relationship will immediately brew between the two, their budding romance will turn upside down with a web of deceit and lies. Viewers may not even believe that this is based on a true story.
Of course, the much-awaited continuation of Penelope and Colin’s love story will be seen in Bridgerton Season 3 Part 2. After Colin finally confesses his love for Penelope, he bravely asks her if she will marry him. Though her answer is yet to be revealed, the conflict is about to begin in the next four episodes. Penelope has yet to tell Colin her big secret about being the alter ego of Lady Whistledown. Also, fans must see how Eloise will react to their relationship after her fallout with Penelope.
