Crystal Dynamics has released a new teaser trailer for Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis as part of the Tomb Raider series' 30th anniversary celebrations. The sneak peek was revealed at the TR30 Derby and MCM London events, giving players their latest look at the reimagining of Lara Croft's 1996 debut adventure.

The footage leans into the imagery that defined the original game, with Lara Croft wielding her dual handguns and a shotgun as she swings across crumbling structures. Reptilian predators also feature in the sneak peek, a nod to one of the 1996 game's most memorable encounters, and Crystal Dynamics is teasing that the video hides further iconic content for longtime players to spot.

The teaser also reaffirms Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis for February 12, 2027, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2. The game will arrive in three editions, and pre-orders include the Survivor Outfit, which lets players use the Lara Croft model from the 2013 reboot, while the Deluxe Edition adds 48-hour early access.

The Deluxe Edition also includes the Parisian Fugitive outfit and a DLC story pack, whose release timing Crystal Dynamics and Amazon Game Studios have yet to announce. Standard pre-orders are live now across the game's storefronts.

Legacy of Atlantis is a full reimagining of the original Tomb Raider from 1996, making it the second remake of Lara Croft's debut after Tomb Raider: Anniversary in 2007. Crystal Dynamics is co-developing the game with Flying Wild Hog, Amazon Game Studios is publishing, and the project is built in Unreal Engine 5 and sits within the continuity of the Survivor trilogy.

The story follows Lara Croft, portrayed by Alix Wilton Regan, as she hunts for the scattered pieces of the Scion, an artifact of immeasurable power from the lost civilization of Atlantis. Her search runs from the jungles of Peru to the ancient ruins of Greece, the deserts of Egypt and a mysterious Mediterranean island, with modernized combat, redesigned puzzles and expanded exploration built around the original game's locations.

The teaser was not the anniversary's only release, as Crystal Dynamics also published a lo-fi music collection celebrating three decades of the series' music. The collection, created with community musician That Norsk Chick and artist Tholia, reworks themes from across the Classic, Legend and Survivor eras and features newly recorded Lara Croft lines from Alix Wilton Regan.
