Suicide Squad ISEKAI Reveals New Anime Character Visuals

5 new Suicide Squad ISEKAI character visuals were revealed along with the anime's Japanese voice cast.

WIT Studio and Warner Bros. Japan recently revealed new information for Suicide Squad ISEKAI, including a new trailer, cast details, and a 2024 release window. The new details for the upcoming isekai anime were revealed during a special stream on Friday, just a few months after it was announced at Anime Expo 2023.

Suicide Squad ISEKAI will have an original story that features various characters from the DC universe, including Harley Quinn, Joker, Peacemaker, Deadshot and other members of the anti-hero/villain team known as the Suicide Squad, exploring a fantasy world never featured in the comic books. Five character visuals have also been released, for the characters, but Joker doesn't have one yet.

Who are the main staff of Suicide Squad ISEKAI?

Suicide Squad ISEKAI is being directed by Eri Osada while Naoto Hosada is handling the character designs. Eiji Umehara and Tappei Nagatsuki are in charge of the screenplay, and the music will be composed by Kenichiro Suehiro. Akira Amano (known for REBORN!) worked on the original character designs.

What is Suicide Squad about?

Suicide Squad is an anti-hero/villain team featured in a DC Comics series modernized by John Ostrander in 1987 after the characters from the seriesdebuted in The Brave and The Bold comics from the 1950s. The comic book series has been adapted into two featured films (released in 2016 and 2021). Several comic books have depicted various incarnations of the team have existed throughout the years, from the Silver Age to its modern-day post-Crisis re-imagining, to the current version that debuted in 2016.
