Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 3 is all the rave today, and the first three episodes have put fans on the edge of their seats with their action-packed scenes and revelations about Omega and the Empire. As Episode 3, Shadows of Tantiss, hints at the fate of the young clone in the final season, the character’s voice actress, Michelle Ang, teases a bittersweet ending for Nale Se’s medical assistant.

In an interview with Comicbook, Ang asked fans to prepare for a heartbreaking conclusion of Omega’s story in The Bad Batch Season 3. Though the actress didn’t go into details, she added that the show’s creator, Dave Filoni, gave it a nice ending and a beautiful service to the characters.

I hoped there was a long, long storyline potential for this to continue for a long time, but I also feel like our creators have done a beautiful service to these characters that they've brought into this series, and this is a nice place to end it.

Ang continued that though bittersweet, viewers would see a satisfying end for Omega, though she knew she could have continued and done more. Elsewhere, the 40-year-old also talked about the story conclusion of Clone Force 99. According to her, The Bad Batch Season 3 will address the series’ main theme and come full circle to answer the long-standing questions about the group, Omega, and their future.

I think... there is a trajectory that was set up in the dynamic of these soldiers being thrust into becoming big brothers... caretakers of this young child, and then forcing them to imagine their own autonomous future outside of being owned by anyone else," Ang explained. "I guess if that's the preliminary setup, then yeah, where we end up in Season 3 is kind of full circle in answering that question for themselves.

The Bad Batch Season 3 Episode 3 sees Nala Se telling Omega to escape using her datapad after seeing Emerie take her blood sample again. As Emerie handles the laboratory work while she comes with Dr. Hemlock to meet a mysterious guest, there’s no way she can destroy Omega’s vial of blood, and the Empire is about to know her real genetics.

Later, the mysterious guest is revealed to be Emperor Palpatine, who talks to Dr. Hemlock about Project Necromancer. The Galactic Empire’s Chief Scientist shows the Sith the subjects of their project, and the latter vows to give him more resources to advance his research. But while they’re busy chatting, Omega makes her way to Crosshair’s detention and escape together after successfully evading the Stormtroopers.

The two run away through the animal pen and find the destroyed ship, only to know that it isn’t working. They manage to steal the guards’ vessel after fighting the Stormtrooper. But as Dr. Hemlock orders their death, Emerie stops her by revealing Omega is the key to producing the M-count they’re looking for to complete Project Necromancer. Dr. Hemlocks lets Omega escape and swears to use the Imperial resources to find her.
