Star Wars: The Acolyte, a series subject to much anticipation and speculation, is finally taking shape! In a thrilling surprise, Lucasfilm has unveiled the teaser poster and announced the release date for June 4 on Disney+. But that’s not all. A new official synopsis and a promise of a significant event on March 19 have also been revealed, adding to the excitement and intrigue.
The Acolyte, set during the High Republic era at the height of the Jedi Order, promises a gripping narrative. The new teaser image, however, hints at a dark and bloody event about to unfold. “Trouble is brewing for the guardians of peace and justice in the galaxy,” its official website teases, leaving fans eager to know more.
The poster in question shows a lightsaber on the ground. But instead of a plasma blade, blood spills just above its hand grip. “In an age of light, a darkness rises,” the text in the visual reads.

Star Wars official X (formerly Twitter) account also shares the said visual with an intriguing caption of “Tomorrow.” Though nothing is known about what will be released tomorrow, there are theories that it can either be a preview still/s or a teaser, while Star Wars News Net confirmed it would be a trailer.

Previous reports claimed it would be released on Wednesday, June 5, considering Disney+ usually releases new episodes on the said day.
