The legacy of Star Wars has been going on for more than four decades and it proves to be one of the longest standing franchises that remains to be loved by generations. Now, learning could be quite a bore for some but that isn't the case at Camino Real Elementary School as the Force is with all of them as their teacher, Heather Trupia, brings the fun in school as she pulls lightsaber shows in class. She goes all the way in cosplaying and performing for her students to help them for their STAAR test.
Tests are hard in school and more often than not, most of the students are not excited to take any kind of it. Heather Trupia, an educator for more than two decades, loves Star Wars and she thought of a creative way to keep her students interested in class as she brings Star Wars into learning because a having Jedi master is cooler than your average teacher, right? As the students prepare for the standardized STAAR test of the state, Trupia reveals her secret to MySA in a recent interview:
Trupia has been featured in the documentary of San Antonio filmmaker Alejandro Cabrera titled In the Lone Star Wars State which promises an exploration of Star Wars in Texas and how if connects to the Western genre. Known as the Star Wars teacher, Trupia's main weapon of choice is, of course, a lightsaber and she would come up with ways to "defeat the STAAR test," against her husband who plays the villain "Death STAAR Test." Trupia's character of choice is Rey Skywalker from The Force Awakens.
Will Rey Skywalker be back in Star Wars?
The quick and exciting answer to that is yes! Rey Skywalker will be back to the galaxy far, far away as she stars in her own solo Star Wars film after The Rise of the Skywalker. Lucasfilm announced at the Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 that Daisy Ridley's Rey Skywalker will return in a film to be directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.
There is no release date yet for the upcoming Rey Skywalker movie but it is guaranteed that it will focus on the future.
