Ahsoka has already introduced a lot of awesome possibilities in the Star Wars Universe. However, the best thing about the Disney+ show might be the return of Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker and his interactions with the live-action version of the young Ahsoka Tano. So is it possible that we'll get a spin-off series following the two during the Clone Wars era? Ariana Greenblatt may have confirmed that she already discussed the possibility with Christensen!
In Ahsoka Episode 5, Anakin revealed that he wanted to teach Ahsoka her final lesson in the World Between Worlds. When she loses the duel, Ahsoka is sent to relive her past actions during the Clone Wars. Ahsoka continues to resist, leading to another duel that she ultimately wins and is eventually recovered by Hera Syndulla's companions.
The live-action treatment of key moments from Star Wars: The Clone Wars was only a glimpse at what it could be like, and not surprisingly, fans are already hoping there will be a Star Wars project that will bring back Christensen and Greenblatt. The interesting thing is, fans aren't the only ones who have considered the possibility.
One fan tweeted out about their hopes for a live-action Clone Wars project after seeing Anakin and young Ahsoka together. Greenblatt responded to the tweet, revealing that she and Christensen already spoke about it.
"Thanks so much for the kind words, we laughed and talked about that tonight," she wrote.
This is great news considering that everybody is looking forward to a live-action Clone Wars project. On the other hand, the two actors may have only discussed the possibility among themselves and that the producers were not involved in the discussion. Still, Star Wars fans are hoping that this could be the start of an exciting new series or film in the future.
Ahsoka is already down to its last two episodes which means that the stakes are truly high. The seventh and penultimate episode has not yet been given an official title. However, it is already set to premiere on Disney+ on September 26, 2023.
