From the galaxy far, far away, the narrative continues to evolve as the franchise brings in more stories of characters that play a huge part in the development of the whole story. Aside from the introduction of new faces, those already existing in the lore gets their own time in the spotlight. In Ahsoka, she got her own series wherein Anakin appeared and how their stories are related was revealed in an official clip released by Star Wars.
Ahsoka aired its episodes in the previous month and it explored the narrative of the titular character as to her impact on the totality of the narrative of the galaxy far, far away. In the series, Ahsoka encounter Anakin where she got to revisit their connection from Clone Wars. In the finale, Anakin's Force Ghost proudly smiled on Ahsoka in the World Between Worlds.
Star Wars released a clip with Rosario Dawson, Hayden Christensen, and Ariana Greenblatt sharing their experience in the series. More than that, they discussed the fifth episode of Ahsoka where the relationship between Ahsoka and Anakin was explored. See the clip below:
In the clip, Rosario Dawson who plays the titular character said, "You start to realize just how rich Ahsoka's history is." To add, Ariana Greenblatt who plays the younger version of Ahsoka revealed, "Anakin and Ahsoka's relationship is so cherished and it's so loved, and they have so many fantastic moments together." Solidifying the point, Anakin Skywalker actor Hayden Christensen stated, "In a lot of ways, her character arc can sort of parallel Anakin's."
Is Ahsoka Season 2 happening?
As of the time of writing, there is still no confirmation from Lucasfilm or anyone involved in Ahsoka whether the second season would happen but earlier this month, Deadline revealed that the sequel of the series is "more of a reality in the conversation, though nothing is locked yet."
The finale of Ahsoka sets in stone what could come next in Ahsoka Season 2 should the show be given a green light. It is expected that the relationship between Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker could be more explored in the second installment of the show. The appearance of Anakin's Force Ghost in the finale of Ahsoka could lead the story into diving deeper into how both of them share a parallelism in their respective narratives. Given the connection of Ahsoka with The Mandalorian and the future plans of the Dave Filoni in film, the characters of Ahsoka are bound to return to the screens under different titles.
