Ariana Greenblatt quickly rose to fame after playing the character Sasha in Barbie earlier this year, which was only fueled by her surprise appearance in Star Wars: Ahsoka Episode 5. In that particular episode, the actress showed up as a young version of the beloved titular hero. Ahsoka Tano was initially voiced by Ashley Eckstein in Star Wars: Clone Wars, who later voiced the character’s older version in Star Wars Rebels.

However, the older Ahsoka is now played by Rosario Dawson in the Disney+ live-action series. The fifth episode of Star Wars: Ahsoka, titled Part Five: Shadow Warrior, was the first time the younger version of the character was seen in live-action, making fans realize just how small Ahsoka was when she began fighting the war while in the middle of her Jedi training.

The Star Wars official social media accounts recently posted a video of Ariana Greenblatt sharing her entire experience of portraying Ahsoka Tano and trying to mirror Dawson’s performance. In the previously recorded video, the actress states, "I watched a ton of Clone Wars episodes. I mean, when I was getting ready for rehearsal, it was just always on in the background."

Greenblatt continues to explain that even though she’s embodying a younger version of Ahsoka Tano, the character still has her adult mind after her encounter with Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen), which took place in the World Between Worlds. While explaining the younger and older Ahsoka, Greenblatt said, "So I had to combine the characters.” You can watch the video below, where the actress also talks about visiting Rosario Dawson on set:

Is there going to be an Ahsoka Season 2?

As per the Deadline report that came out last week, "Ahsoka Season 2 is more of a reality in the conversation, though nothing is locked yet." Since Ahsoka is tied to The Mandalorian and Dave Filoni’s upcoming movie plans, there’s a high chance that fans will get to see the Ahsoka characters once again.

During an interview with Comicbook.com that took place before the SAG-AFTRA strike, Rosario Dawson was asked if she had any information regarding Filoni’s movie and if she would be a part of it. You can read her entire response below:

"No. I'm just so happy he got it. Honestly, my uncle is a comic book artist. That is not the average transition coming from animation and going into directing, and especially a film. For all the nerds, I think for the cons and stuff, this is just like, 'Ah!' kind of status. So, I'm just super stoked for him because it really could not happen to a better person. He's so talented and remarkable and awesome, and I love him. And I think what he learned in doing in animation, he's blowing out of the water in directing and live action. So, I'm, as a fan, excited to watch that movie, whether I'm in it or not."

She further said, "And I hope I'm invited to set, regardless." We hope the actress is a part of the movie as well.
