The final episode of Ahsoka is finally here and viewers can't help but feel emotional after everything that went down in The Jedi, The Witch, and The Warlord. After all, it marked the last episode featuring the late Ray Stevenson and his co-star Ivanna Sakhno made sure to pay tribute to the legendary actor after the finale.

Ahsoka Episode 8 marked a significant moment for the character Baylan Skoll and in commemoration of this milestone, Sakhno took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post. The tribute makes sense considering that Sakhno played Baylan's apprentice Shin Hati and the two appeared in most of their scenes together.

Sakhno's post featured an image from Norse mythology, depicting Skoll and Hati, two colossal wolves tasked with chasing the sun and the moon. It has long been speculated that these mythological figures served as the inspiration for the original character names created by Dave Filoni for the series.

"For my friend Ray. Forever your Wolf. x," Sakhno wrote.

The Instagram post by Sakhno serves as a poignant nod to the profound connections woven throughout Ahsoka, hinting at the deep roots from which the characters and their narratives draw inspiration. It encapsulates the sentiment of a significant moment in the saga, leaving fans touched by the gesture and reflecting on the intricate storytelling of the series.

But did Ahsoka Episode 8 also confirm that Baylan will continue to play a major role when the series is renewed for a second season? In the finale, the Grey Jedi is revealed to have discovered massive statues of the Mortis Gods and appears to be searching for something that the Father is pointing towards on the horizon. With that in mind, his search is clearly not over and there is a possibility that his story could still be explored in the future.
