Zack Snyder is building his own empire on Netflix where he seals a deal of different movies in a new universe to pique everyone's interests in an epic space opera. The first release of the two-part film, Rebel Moon Part One - A Child of Fire arrives on Netflix as Snyder's present to all sci-fi geeks out there and this first chapter would be coming out sooner rather than later. The release schedule of the movie has moved a day ahead on Netflix with a promise of a story that'll take everyone into an adventure.
Rebel Moon Part One - A Child of Fire is the first chapter of the Rebel Moon movies that director Zack Snyder brought to Netflix. Supposedly releasing on December 22 this year, an announcement was made on Netflix Geeked that the first chapter will be coming out a day earlier along with a brief trailer. What is Rebel Moon Part One - A Child of Fire about?
Rebel Moon Part One - A Child of Fire follows a new universe made by Zack Snyder which is controlled by Motherworld's corrupt government and on the moon of Veldt which is under the threat of the Imperium's forces led by Regent Balisarius, the head of the army. The story will follow the main protagonist, Kora, who was a previous member of the Imperium who wants to be redeemed and she went on a quest to bring in warriors from all around the galaxy to clap back against Motherworld's forces before they all go home.
Sofia Boutella leads Rebel Moon Part One - A Child of Fire as Kora, the main heroine of the movie, the love interest of Kora will be played by Charlie Hunnam, and Balisarius, the villain, is played by Ed Skrein. Among the other cast members are Anthony Hopkins as the voice of Jimmy, Ray Fisher as Blood Axe, Djimon Hounsou as General Titus, Fra Fee, Corey Stoll, Jena Malone, Ray Porter, Staz Nair, Doona Bae, Cary Elwes, Cleopatra Coleman, Stuart Martin, Alfonso Herrera, and Michael Huisman.
