Lucasfilm is continuously hyping up the release of Star Wars: Ahsoka. And to excite fans more, the studio has dropped a new trailer featuring the intense battles of the main characters, Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson) and Sabine (Natasha Liu Bordizzo). As the preview hints, a new hero will rise as a new threat will emerge.
Written and executive produced by Dave Filoni, who is also behind the Star Wars animated shows The Clone Wars and Rebels, the new Disney+ series will see Ahsoka Tano’s return to investigate a threat after the fall of the Empire. The show will be set in the same timeline as The Mandalorian, and several Rebel characters will get into the live-action.
The new Ahsoka trailer in question sees Sabine in a lightsaber duel with Shin Hati (Ivanna Sakhno). The scene then shifts to when Ashoka still trains Sabine using wooden sticks. From there, the former Jedi Padawan declares that the Empire is still a threat, and another war may begin.
Later, Ashoka faces Baylan Skoll (the late Ray Stevenson), who tells her that her former master Anakin Skywalker talks highly of her. The two then begin a fight, teasing the intense battles fans will see in the series. You can see the trailer below:
