Netflix has unveiled the first official trailer and character poster for its upcoming romantic drama Pavane, starring Moon Sang-min and Go Ah-sung. Directed by Lee Jong-pil and adapted from Park Min-gyu’s beloved novel Pavane for a Dead Princess, the film promises a gentle, introspective story about three wounded young adults who find unexpected comfort and connection while working together at a department store.

Go Ah-sung plays Mi-jung, a soft-spoken salesperson who has built high walls around herself, going out of her way to avoid eye contact and remain unnoticed by those around her. Among her coworkers, she has earned the affectionate yet telling nickname “Dinosaur,” a reference to her tendency to retreat and protect herself like an ancient, solitary creature.
Moon Sang-min portrays Gyeong-rok, a part-time worker who has quietly set aside his former aspirations to take on this new role. Their first encounter happens by chance in the parking lot, immediately piquing Gyeong-rok’s interest. Curious, he asks his friend Yo-han—played by Byun Yo-han—about the mysterious woman. As Gyeong-rok finds himself increasingly drawn to Mi-jung, Yo-han’s voice-over delivers one of the trailer’s most touching lines: “That summer, he fell in love for the first time in his life.”
