Charlie Cox is about to reprise his role as Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil, in his solo series Daredevil: Born Again. But as the strikes happened and paused its production, the actor would soon appear in another TV show instead. Fortunately, Marvel has revealed Cox’s next MCU project, the long-delayed Echo.

Cox was first seen as Matt Murdock in the 2015 hit Netflix series Daredevil. The 40-year-old reprised his role for three seasons and made several appearances in other Marvel projects, like The Defenders. From there, he made his first Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home as Peter Parker’s lawyer and next on She-Hulk after crossing paths with Jennifer Walters.

And by the looks of it, he will be next seen in Echo. Marvel previously confirmed Cox’s Daredevil appearance in the said series, and the Treason star recently found his name on the cast list after Marvel Studios officially filed Echo’s synopsis to the United States Copyright Office.

Aside from Cox, the new series will also feature Alaqua Cox as the lead Maya Lopez, Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin, Zahn McClarnon as William Lopez, and Chaske Spencer as Henry. It will also see Tantoo Cardinal as Chula, Graham Green as Skully, Cody Lightning as Cousin Biscuits, and Devery Jacobs as Bonnie.

What is Echo about?

Echo will see Maya struggling to reconnect with her Native American roots while trying to balance aspirations tied to a life of crime. It has been known that she’s the successor of the brutal legacy of Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin. In the series’ first episode, fans are about to see these life difficulties.

You can read the synopsis below:
