Victor Timely may have yet to appear in Loki Season 2, but he’s already making rounds online. First introduced in the post-credit scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, he will be the next antagonist the God of Mischief is about to face, who the latter described as “terrifying.” So, who is Victor Timely, and what's his Marvel history?
The show’s first season saw Sylvie killing He Who Remains, the Time Variance Authority (TVA) creator. So, a different version of him will be seen in Loki Season 2: Victor Timely. In an interview with IGN, producer Kevin Wright even revealed that this character would play a crucial role in the second season.

Real name Nathaniel Richards, he uses Victor Timely as his work moniker. He’s a scientist who travels to the past to teach people about time. Victor learns time-traveling through the Multiverse and develops a technology that helps people from the past understand the concept of time and how it can be manipulated.
To do this, he holds a show under his working name to present his invention and tell everyone that they can control time according to their liking. Little did he know that Loki and Mobius were part of his audience, as they had been tracking him down as TVA agents. From here, Loki realizes that Victor is actually He Who Remains’ Variant and tells Mobius he’s “terrifying.”

Victor Timely in the Marvel Comics
After being defeated by the Avengers in the modern age of Earth-616, the divergent version of Kang the Conqueror went to the 20th century to start his plan to conquer the new era. He traveled to January 1, 1901, and created the town of Timely, Wisconsin, becoming the city’s mayor, Victor Timely. Here, he started building factories and a business called Timely Industries. He also teaches his staff the basic principles of robotics.
Among the many things he establishes include the realm of Chronopolis, which originally started as a fortress out of synch with time. This kingdom eventually grows and becomes a crossroad between the Earth’s past, present, and future. Kang uses Chronopolis to monitor his domination. When he’s away from Timely, he uses his robotics as stands-ins that seemingly age. Eventually, Kang’s variant, Victor, dies and is replaced by Victor Timely Jr.
It remains to be seen when Victor finally appears in Loki Season 2. As everyone waits, the third episode will be released today, October 19, on Disney+.
