It has been a long wait but Loki Season 2 is finally coming this year. To hype up the return of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series, Marvel Studios has dropped a new poster for the second season. Interestingly, it seems to confirm that Miss Minutes will play a larger role in the Disney+ show.
We already met Miss Minutes in the first season of Loki. Although the animated anthropomorphic clock mascot of the TVA initially appeared harmless and innocent, it was since been confirmed that Miss Minutes is the one character who knows the truth behind the agency and has been working for He Who Remains all this time.
But what happens to Miss Minutes now that He Who Remains has been killed by Sylvie? If we're to believe the new poster for Loki Season 2, she could play an even larger role in the series. In the poster, the God of Mischief is shown running on top of Miss Minutes' face. Could this confirm that he is being manipulated by the clock?
What will Happen in Loki Season 2?
Although Loki Season 2 is one of the most highly anticipated shows of the year, we still have no idea what will happen in the second season. Marvel Studios has yet to drop an official trailer for the series and the official synopsis has not been revealed. What we do know so far is that things will be even more chaotic than the first season.
Loki Season 2 will bring back Tom Hiddleston as the God of Mischief who once again has to work with the TVA but it's not the same TVA from the first season. Although Owen Wilson still plays Mobius, he isn't quite the same since Sylvie ended He Who Remains. Moreover, the show will introduce new characters who might complicate things even further.
The series will also star Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, and Liz Carr. Everything Everywhere All at Once actor Ke Huy Quan has been cast in an undisclosed role. Prepare to return to chaos when Loki Season 2 premieres on Disney+ on October 6, 2023.
