Fans have been wondering about Ravonna Renslayer's big secret since last week so Loki Season 2 Episode 4 didn't waste time in dishing out the truth about the TVA judge. Not surprisingly, the reveal was satisfying on its own but it also had a major twist that ultimately led to a huge gamechanger in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series.
In Loki Season 2 Episode 4, Miss Minutes showed Renslayer the truth about her relationship with He Who Remains. As it turns out, she had always been his companion and the commander of his army which seemingly led to his victory. But here's the twist: As soon as he became victorious, He Who Remains immediately ordered Miss Minutes to erase Renslayer and the rest of TVA's memories.
Naturally, Renslayer isn't very happy about that and she conspires with Miss Minutes to take over the TVA. They convince Brad Wolfe aka Hunter X-5 to join them before killing the captured General Dox and her Minutemen in a gruesome fashion that delights Miss Minutes.
First of all, there is something VERY WRONG with that animated clock. Fans already suspected as much about Miss Minutes in the previous season finale and the second season certainly didn't disappoint by revealing how unhinged she could be. However, Miss Minutes is clearly up to something in Loki Season 2 Episode 4 as she manipulates Renslayer into taking over the TVA then later attempts to profess her love to Victor Timely.
Did Miss Minutes leave out something important in Renslayer's Secret?
It's clear that Miss Minutes' allegiance isn't with Renslayer and it is suspected that she left out something important in Renslayer's memories so she could manipulate the TVA judge. It is even possible that she altered the memory so Renslayer would do what she wanted. Moreover, there is a possibility that she is simply following He Who Remains' orders right from the start. Either way, we know that we can't trust anything that comes from Miss Minutes and hopefully, the effervescent clock (Timely's words) will get her comeuppance in the last two episodes of Loki Season 2.
Loki Season 2 Episode 4 is now streaming on Disney+. The fifth and penultimate episode of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series will set to premiere on November 2, 2023.
