Kevin Wright, the executive producer of Loki, recently shared any plans that might be in the making regarding the return of Tom Hiddleston’s Loki to the MCU. The actor’s solo series in which he plays the role of Loki was released two years ago and became an instant hit. However, many also wish to see the God of Mischief reunite with his brother Thor in an MCU project.
Wright also expressed this wish during an interview with Variety, where he said, "That’s the hope. I don’t want to — yeah. I think the sun shining on Loki and Thor once again has always been the priority of the story we’re telling. But for that meeting to really be fulfilling, we have to get Loki to a certain place emotionally. I think that’s been the goal of these two seasons."

Tom Hiddleston has been playing the role of Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe ever since 2011. The original timeline version of the beloved God of Mischief was first featured in Thor (2011). The actor then reprised his role in Marvel’s The Avengers (2012), Thor: The Dark World (2013), Thor: Ragnarok (2017) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018).
Unfortunately, the original Loki was killed by Thanos at the start of Infinity War, which completely shattered Thor as he no longer had any family members. Loki’s alternate timeline version then appeared in Avengers: Endgame (2019) from Marvel’s The Avengers. This version escaped custody while being in possession of the Tesseract after the Avengers went back and messed with time in order to get their hands on the Infinity Stones once again.
This particular scene led to Loki’s very own Disney+ series, which launched on the streaming platform back in June 2021. Loki Season 1 was created by Michael Waldron and features the story of Loki’s Endgame variant while he works with the Time Variance Authority (TVA) to stop the sacred timeline from breaking apart.
