Rin and Nadeshiko are back for another camping adventure in Laid-Back Camp Season 3. The anime has released a new trailer and preview still for the new season, featuring the girls going to another campsite and enjoying camping as usual.
Based on the Japanese manga of the same by Afro, the series follows the story of Rin, Nadeshiko, and their friends visiting various campsites in Japan. After seeing several iterations, from an anime to an anime spinoff to live-action drama and even a video game, Laid-Back Camp Season 3 will finally come, produced by 8bit Studio this time.
The anime’s official website has dropped a new trailer and a still for the upcoming third season. First, the trailer begins with the beautiful sight of Mt. Fuji. Everything looks serene as Rin starts her bike, but she’s beginning to doubt whether she’ll look forward to the next camp despite being lonely. The next scene then features Nadeshiko taking pictures while thinking about how days are getting longer than usual.
From there, Rin asks where they should go next. The two, along with Aoi, bond together while experimenting. Later, they’re already building a tent in the garden, starting their garden camp.

Alternatively, the colorful preview still features Chiaki, Aoi, and Saito camping at the lakeside campsite with a scenic view of Mt. Fuji in the background. Of course, Rin, who’s pushing her bike, and Nadeshiko are there, along with the cute little dog, Chikuwa.

Fans will once again hear the familiar voices of Rin, Nadeshiko, and the rest of the gang as the original voice actors return to reprise their roles in Laid-Back Camp Season 3. You can check the list below:

However, the new season will feature a new set of staff and crew, starting with Shin Tosaka as the director. Masafumi will work on the series composition, Takanori Hashimoto on character designs, Akiyuki Tateyama on music composition, and Takeshi Takadera on sounds. But Asaka and Eri Sasaki return to perform the opening and ending theme songs, respectively.
What is Laid-Back Camp about?
Laid-Back Camp tells the story of Nadeshiko, a high school student who just moved into Yamanashi. The young girl is eager to see Mt. Fuji, which she sees in the 1000-yen bill. However, she has to return home after biking to Motosu due to the bad weather, but she eventually faints.
When she wakes up in the middle of the night, she’s in an unfamiliar place with no idea how to get home. Thankfully, she meets Rin, who tries to save her. And as Rin is a camper who usually goes camping by herself, a beautiful adventure begins between the two.

Nadeshiko, a high school student who had moved from Shizuoka to Yamanashi, decides to see the famous, 1000 yen-bill-featured Mount Fuji. Even though she manages to bike all the way to Motosu, she’s forced to turn back because of worsening weather. Unable to set her eyes on her goal, she faints partway to her destination. When she wakes up, it’s night, in a place she’s never been before, with no way of knowing how to get home. Nadeshiko is saved when she encounters Rin, a girl who is out camping by herself. This outdoorsy girls story begins with this first encounter between Nadeshiko and Rin.
So far, there are no words on when Laid-Back Camp Season 3 will be released, though it will be sometime in 2024. With the new adventure the third season promises, fans will be again treated to Japan's stunning views.
