Netflix has added a new anime series to its growing anime library with Good Night World. But compared to other animated shows, this one features a different kind of family. And to give fans a glimpse of what’s to come, the anime has released a new trailer and revealed its official release date.
Based on the manga series by Uru Okabe, it was serialized in Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday website and MangOne from December 2015 to January 17. It has collected five tankōbon volumes, while NAZ adapted the series into anime. And now, Good Night World is about to hit Netflix.
The anime’s official website has released a new trailer, starting with Mei, An Akabane family member, seeing the feathers falling from the sky. The preview then shows the Black Bird, which is dubbed the final executor in cyberspace. From there, a quick glimpse of the action-packed scenes viewers are about to see is revealed, from a cat-looking monster to a huge eye to the Black Bird and more.
The preview sees the characters taken to a world that is neither real nor a planet. Later, Mei is surprised by Shiro’s revelation that all of them are in a game. And amid everything that is happening, their future is entrusted to Taichiro. The trailer also features the ending theme song, Salvia, by Nornis.
