SBS has unveiled a set of carefully composed new stills for the next episode of Flex X Cop 2, focusing on a private confrontation that takes place inside a high-profile art exhibition. The images capture a charged atmosphere and signal that the drama is preparing to explore deeper personal history between two of its central figures.
Flex X Cop 2 continues the story of Jin Yi-soo (Ahn Bo-hyun), a third-generation chaebol heir who left behind a life of privilege to become a detective and now treats his enormous wealth and elite social network as practical tools whenever official investigations reach a dead end. He works alongside Joo Hye-ra (Jung Eun-chae), a seasoned and highly methodical detective who has recently taken a leadership role within the violent crimes unit and refuses to rely on shortcuts. Their sharply different approaches create constant tension even as they begin to recognize larger patterns behind the cases they handle together.
In the newly released stills, Joo Hye-ra moves through the exhibition that marks the formal return of sculptor Yoo Seong-won (Yoo Seung-ho) to Korea after time spent abroad. She stops in front of several large-scale works, her expression shifting between careful observation and something more personal as she studies the pieces that have defined his public reputation.
Yoo Seong-won stands a short distance away, watching her in complete silence with a cold and unreadable gaze that never softens. The quiet intensity that fills the gallery space points to a complicated shared history that Joo Hye-ra has long kept under quiet suspicion, especially since Yoo Seong-won’s wealth and social standing are said to rival those of Jin Yi-soo himself.
Yoo Seung-ho first gained widespread attention as a child actor and later built a career spanning both historical and contemporary roles. He is known for standout performances in The Emperor: Owner of the Mask, I’m Not a Robot, My Strange Hero, Memorist, and Moonshine, among other series that showcased his range across genres.
The fifth episode of Flex X Cop 2 is set to air on August 21 at 9:50 p.m. KST and will pick up directly from the gallery scenes shown in the new stills. International viewers can stream the episode on Disney+ and Hulu once it becomes available following the domestic broadcast.
