Much to the surprise and excitement of the fans of the anime series, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 is happening as the series has been confirmed for another run. This only means that there is more to the story of Yuji Itadori and the others who survived from Jujutsu Tech as they continue in another arc which will be brought forth to the screens. The upcoming third installment of the series will focus on "The Culling Game" arc that brings another interesting story following how the second season ended.
Just before 2023 ended, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 has been introduced to the public as the season that would bring The Culling Game to life. The announcement went live through a sneak peek of what the next installment of the series would offer. Following the epic Shibuya Incident arc, the second season of the series ended with an homage to Yuta and a Season 3 promo clip to close out this current season. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: The Culling Game Explained

Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen witnessed Suguru Geto who managed to wake up a thousand cursed energy users with infused abilities either through inherent cursed powers or with cursed items that could be the source of strength of the energy users. The Culling Game is from the original manga of Gege Akutami which deals with the Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Yuta Okkotsu, and others as they go head-to-head once more against the rogue Jujutsu sorcerer named Kenjaku. The same story arc will introduce how the sorcerers fight against one another until the point that only one emerges victorious in the end.
The Culling Games has rules which the participants of the supernatural battle royale would follow: first, a player must declare the intent to participate in the Culling Game within 19 days at the colony of their choice; second, anyone who violates the first rule shall be under the cursed technique removal; third, those who enter the colony but are not-players would be tantamount to a declaration of participation in the games, and fourth, the players would have to score points through killing other players. Other rules include the fifth rule about the point system of the game where sorcerers are generally worth five points.
Not including the current value of the players' life, the players can get more than hundred points in order to negotiate whether the game master would add another rule. After that, the game master should accept the proposals to the new rules unless there were already the same rules. Once the score of the payer remains the same for 19 days, said player would undergo cursed technique removal.
