Todo and Arata arrived in the nick of time, as Mahito was already brutally beating Yuji in the previous episode. As Arata gave Yuji a glimmer of hope that Nobara could still be alive, he once again had the vigor to renew his fight against Mahito, and this time, he got Todo’s help. So, the anime has now released new preview stills for the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 21, titled Metamorphosis, teasing the end of the battle against the special grade cursed spirit.
The official stills for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 21 are every inch dramatic, mostly showing only half of the characters’ faces to capture their intense feelings and emotions. It starts with Mahito conjuring his own Domain Expansion by forming tiny hands inside his mouth. It’s followed by the fierce gazes of Yuji and Todo as the battle continues.
The next preview shows Mahito releasing his Polymorphic Soul Isomer to use Soul Multiplicity to create a transfigured human that can attack his opponents on its own. The other two stills focus on the villain’s eyes and Todo’s body.

What to expect from Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 21?
Fans will witness the ultimate fight between Yuji and Mahito in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 21. After being encouraged by Todo, Yuji stands up and is ready to go head-to-head against Mahito. Todo will use Black Flash after Yuji and Mahito, letting them give their 120% potential. However, Mahito will prepare to attack using Soul Multiplicity and Domain Expansion. As things get pretty intense from here, the final curse exchange between the three is about to happen.
