What to expect from Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 will adapt the manga’s ninth arc, The Culling Game Arc. Here, Yuji, Megumi, and their allies will enter the Culling Game to rescue Tsumiki after deciding to join the game. They also aim to free Gojo from the Prison Realm and protect Tengen from Kenjaku.
You can read the synopsis below:
The anime is based on the manga of the same name written and illustrated by Gege Akutami. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s shonen manga magazine, Weekly Shonen Jump, since March 2018 and has published 24 tankobon volumes as of October 2023. It also had over 80 million copies in circulation as of July 2023, making it one of the best-selling manga of all time. Jujutsu Kaisen is the sequel to Akutami’s Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School, which started its serialization in 2017 and only had one tankobon volume. It’s also known as Jujutsu Kaisen 0.
The manga was published in English in North America by Viz Media. It also has two novels, written by Ballad Kitaguni and published in May 2019 and January 2020, respectively. Studio MAPPA then adapted it into anime, with the first season released in October 2020 and the second season in July 2023.
So far, there are no words yet on when Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 will be released. With another interesting arc to be adapted, avid fans are surely looking forward to it.
