The gaming community was full of delight when it was finally confirmed by Rockstar Games that, after a decade of drought for a new Grand Theft Auto game, GTA 6 will be coming soon. The trailer reveal of GTA 6 broke the internet and global records that it trended for days after its release. As fans thrive on the hype of the upcoming game despite having to wait for two more years before it comes out, they reveal which celebrity parodies they want to see once the game arrives.
Over the years, Grand Theft Auto has its own set of celebrities coming out each game wherein some appear to be parodies of real-life actors or personalities, or inspired by real people who made their mark. At a point, there were even real celebrities who appeared in the games such as Phil Collins who was featured in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, and comedians Katt Williams and Ricky Gervais in Grand Theft Auto IV. As GTA 6 is about to arrive in 2025, fans are already dropping names of who they want to see in the game, or at least those they want to see parodied.
On Reddit, the GTA community is already naming their picks on who they want to see. One user says an Amouranth parody could work. Amouranth is a popular female streamer.
Theo Von is another pick who could be a great host on the GTA radio as per the fans.
One of the top YouTubers, Mr. Beast, is also among the pick of the fans. Before the trailer reveal, a Twitter thread from @GTAVI_Countdown showed the fan picks on the celebrities they want to see on the game.
A fan responded that The Weeknd is the "correct answer."
Another fan would like to see Keanu Reeves being John Wick in GTA 6.
Elon Musk is a top pick and one said he'd "make GTA great again."
Other celebrities named were Angelina Jolie, Ice Spice, Jennie of BLACKPINK, and more.
What will GTA 6 be about?
As confirmed by the GTA 6 trailer reveal, the story will follow two protagonists: Jason and Lucia, who are inspired by real-life crime partners Bonnie and Clyde. Their story to get into the crime life of GTA will be the main narrative of GTA 6. It will be set in Leonida, the fictionalized state of Florida, which has the fictionalized version of Miami from a previous GTA game, Vice City. The game will be out on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
So far, beyond that, information remains under wraps on the other details of GTA 6. Speculations on the game include the possibility that Lucia will be voiced by Manni L. Perez who also voiced an NPC in GTA V, its possible game length being at 35 to 40 hours only, its price upon launch, and more.
GTA 6 is set for a 2025 release.
