Florida Joker is "Not Suing" Rockstar Games For GTA 6 Parody But Still Wants to Voice The Character

The Florida Joker says that he's no longer taking legal action but he still wants to make a deal with Rockstar Games and voice the GTA 6 character seemingly inspired by him.

Lawrence Sullivan, a.k.a. "The Florida Joker" or the "GTA Joker", is back again, and it looks like his threats to sue Rockstar Games and its parent company, Take-Two Interactive, in his previous videos, were just a joke. The Miami-based content creator/tattoo model drew a lot of attention in the past few months since the release of the first Grand Theft Auto VI trailer, after he released a series of videos claiming that Rockstar featured a character that seemingly used his appearance. Since then, we've seen him demand millions of dollars, threaten to team-up with the young hacker who leaked GTA 6 files, and explain why his case is different from Lindsay Lohan's.

In his latest TikTok video released today, he starts with his signature entrance of coming out of the bushes, and telling Rockstar and Take-Two that "we gotta talk", then he says that he's "not suing" them anymore, but stills calls them out for not reaching out to him. He asks them to let him "do what's right" by letting him voice the GTA 6 character that seemingly parodied him, promote the game, and meet the fans at conventions. "I'm making that game more relevant," he says. "I'm the reason why that game is so hyped right now."

It's nice to see that the Florida Joker looks less like a villain in this video, even repeating that he's not suing Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive. He didn't even mention the two Jewish lawyers he brought up in his previous videos. It looks like he realized that he has no case against the studio behind GTA 6 as the character in the trailer doesn't look exactly like him even though they share a lot of resemblance with the face tattoos and the orange prison suit. In fact, Sullivan dyed his hair purple to match the hair color of the GTA 6 character.

Will Florida Joker be in GTA 6?

Rockstar clearly hasn't responded to Sullivan's demands, but it would be amusing if the studio actually gives him the opportunity to voice the character, who might not have a major role in the highly-anticipated game. The studio certainly doesn't need Sullivan to promote GTA 6; there's already a lot of hype around the game even before the first trailer was released, but making him part of the project would definitely get fans talking more about the character and the Florida Joker.

GTA 6 won't be released until next year, so there's still time for the studio to decide. Even if the company doesn't end up making a deal with him, Sullivan should still be grateful that the trailer's parody gave him a reason to create content that helped him get clout and followers on TikTok and Instagram even though many fans called him "clown" and laughed at his ridiculous demands.
