There is something so enamoring about the ominous Wednesday Addams that her series has been immediately renewed following the successful first season of Wednesday. Easily being a fan-favorite, preparations are now underway for the production of Wednesday Season 2. With her comes the friends she made along the way, the closest being her roommate Enid, played by Emma Myers, who recently talked about her return in the upcoming sequel.
Wednesday is a series on Netflix about the titular character from the cult classic The Addams Family. As Wednesday Season 2 gets a green light from Netflix, the cast and crew of the beloved Netflix series are also bound to come back. In a recent interview with Collider, Enid Sinclair actress Emma Myers talks about her excitement to return on set and reveals that she doesn't know when the exact filming of the series would be:
No idea when, but I am very excited to get back into it. I can't wait to see my friends and jump back into it. It's very strange because I've not done a role and then come back to do it. It's kind of weird because you feel like you finished it, but going back into it, you’ve got to remember what you did.
Wednesday Season 2 is expected to see the return of Enid Sinclair. From the lineage of The Addams Family, Wednesday is portrayed as cold, dark, and ominous and as a teenager, of course, with an attitude. Upon arriving at Nevermore Academy, she becomes the roommate of someone who is her total opposite, Enid Sinclair, a color-loving and energetic werewolf. Despite their differences, they became best friends by the end of Season 1. With this friendship, Enid is bound to be back for the sequel.
How will Enid Sinclair be part of the story in Wednesday Season 2?
A huge change is happening behind the scenes for Wednesday Season 2 as the production of the sequel moves from Romania to Ireland. The people behind the scenes are eyeing to start filming by Spring 2024. With these changes comes a few repercussions on the narrative of Wednesday Season 2.
Since the set of Wednesday Season 2 is moving from Romania to Ireland, that means that the series' sequel is doing away with the school setting from Season 1. It could be remembered that Nevermore Academy closed down for the rest of the semester and forced everyone to go home. Since Wednesday and Enid are roommates and best friends, it would not be unlikely to have them spend the break together and have another adventure following their impeccable team-up from Season 1.
Enid Sinclair remains to be Wednesday's best friend, thus, playing a huge part of her narrative, and since Enid is a werewolf complementing the abilities of Wednesday, together, they can fight off whatever challenge is ahead of them in Wednesday Season 2.
