If there's one thing that people are looking forward to in Wednesday Season 2, it would be more of her quirky family. Luckily enough, fans might be getting their wish in the second season as it has been confirmed that we'll see more of the Addams Family mansion soon. In addition to that, viewers could get a glimpse of Morticia Addams looking very different in the Netflix series.
We all know Morticia Addams as the classic beauty clad in black and the matriarch of the Addams Family. She is best known for her body-hugging full-length dresses in virtually every adaptation of the beloved family. However, it look like things will be very different in Wednesday Season 2.
Colleen Atwood serves as the costume designer of Wednesday so she knows a lot about what's happening in the series. In a recent interview with Variety, Atwood confirmed that Morticia Addams will play a larger role in the series during the second season. In addition to that, we'll get to see how Morticia goes about her day at the Addams Family mansion.
"Season 2 she’ll have a lot of looks, so it’ll be really fun to see what Morticia does when she’s you know out of the dress and into around-the-house looks," Atwood said.
This is a great tease considering that we only saw Morticia briefly in the first season of Wednesday. It also confirms that we'll get to see a regular day or two in the life of the Addams Family and it strongly suggests they are not always dressed to the nines when trying to relax at home.
We love the idea of Morticia looking more casual in Wednesday Season 2 but could it also mean that there's something wrong with the Addamses? For now, we don't have the full details on the second season. Nevertheless, we're already looking forward to its premiere in the future.
