If there is one thing aside from the Merc with a Mouth that everything is looking forward to in Deadpool movies, that would be who would have cameo appearances in the films. Faces like Brad Pitt, Lewis Tan, and more already made their exciting albeit short appearances in the Ryan Reynolds projects. Whoever gets to be in Deadpool 3 would surely be highly anticipated and none other than director Shawn Levy confirms which casting rumors are true.
There is nothing new with having cameo appearances in movies and that just makes it more interesting to have a well-known actor or character appear randomly somewhere unexpected. In Deadpool 2, Brad Pitt made a blink-or-miss-it cameo appearance as Vanisher who formed part of the X-Force team and unfortunately, died when he got electrocuted, making him visible for a short while. With the same creative minds making Deadpool 3, the next big cameo appearance in the movie is just as exciting as its release.
Director Shawn Levy spoke on SiriusXM's Jess Cagle Show where he revealed that he was feeling lucky about the casting rumors surrounding Deadpool 3:
I love the proliferation of casting rumors on the internet, because I never have to say what's real and what's fantasy, so I'm just going to go with the very cliche 'no comment' on all things casting [with] Deadpool 3. I will say, we're lucky on this one. There's certainly -- is this an answer? A lot of the internet rumors are completely false, but some of them aren't.
Who's in Deadpool 3?
Ryan Reynolds is set to reprise his iconic role as the Merc with a Mouth in Deadpool 3 and the movie is his much anticipated reunion with Hugh Jackman's Wolverine after their brief encounter in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Joining them in the cast are Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Stefan Kapičić as Colossus, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Rob Delaney as Peter, and Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio. Rumors are circulating that huge names are also joining the band in Deadpool 3.
One speculation that made various Swifties across the globe are looking forward to to be true is the alleged appearance of Taylor Swift in Deadpool 3 which director Shawn Levy himself did not confirm nor deny. Usually when these rumors are not confirmed not denied, it turns out to be true so Swifties are looking forward to seeing the singer-songwriter in Deadpool 3. Another character rumored to appear in Deadpool 3 is Jennifer Garner's Elektra who previously appeared in her own spinoff movie.
