This claim already started when the franchise was still owned by 20th Century Fox—before Disney acquired the company in 2019. Dazzler, whose real name is Alison Blaire, is a singer by day and a superhero by night, making the role perfect for Swift. She’s a Marvel comics superheroine, is associated with the X-Men, and has been a member of Excalibur, S.H.I.E.L.D., and A-Force. Her mutant power lets her convert sonic vibrations through the light.
Knowing Deadpool 3 will feature a major X-Men crossover with Wolverine’s (Jackman) appearance, fans expect several mutant cameos, including Dazzler, will be seen. So, how will it happen? Like Brad Pitt’s surprising cameo in Deadpool 2, appearing as Vanisher for a split-second, the same could be done with Swift as Dazzler.
