It looks like Matt Murdock has finally found love again. A report reveals interesting details about Daredevil: Born Again and it reveals that the series will introduce Matt's new girlfriend.
We already know that Matt Murdock hasn't been very lucky in love. Although he's popular with the ladies, Matt's secret identity as The Man Without Fear doesn't make it easy to nurture a relationship. However, that could change in Marvel Cinematic Universe's upcoming reboot series Daredevil: Born Again.
The scoop comes from Daniel RPK who revealed on his Patreon that Daredevil: Born Again will introduce a surprising new character. According to the scooper, new cast member Margarita Levieva will portray Heather Glenn, Matt Murdock's girlfriend.
Who Is Heather Glenn, Daredevil's Girlfriend?
In the comic books, Heather Glenn is a socialite who dates Matt despite their differences. She is the daughter of Maxwell Glenn, the president of Glenn Industries who becomes embroiled in a criminal conspiracy under the influence of the Purple Man.
For now, Marvel Studios has not yet confirmed whether Margarita Levieva will play Heather Glenn in Born Again. However, Heather's live-action debut could be an interesting one as it would show a different side of the Devil of Hell's Kitchen.
But what could this mean for Matt's other girl? Charlie Cox recently reprised his role as Daredevil in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law where he hooked up with Jennifer Walters. Although things seemed great with the two, there's a possibility that the distance made it clear that this is one relationship that won't work out.
Daredevil: Born Again will also bring back Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher. Sandrine Holt will replace Ayelet Zurer, who previously played Wilson's wife Vanessa Fisk in the Netflix series. The first season of the show will consist of 18 episodes and will premiere on Disney+ in early 2024.
