Netflix has unveiled a set of striking new character stills for the highly anticipated superhero drama Cashero, just days ahead of its global premiere. These images offer fans a closer look at the ruthless villainous siblings from the shadowy Criminals’ Association, heightening excitement for the unique blend of action, humor, and everyday struggles that the series promises to deliver.

Adapted from a popular webtoon, Cashero follows the story of Kang Sang-ung, an ordinary government employee played by Lee Jun-ho, who dreams of achieving everyday milestones like owning a home. His life changes dramatically when he gains a superpower that grants him strength proportional to the amount of cash he holds, forcing him to literally spend money to save the world.

The newly unveiled stills introduce the formidable villains affiliated with the Criminals’ Association, a shadowy organization dedicated to capturing heroes and seizing their powers.

Kang Han-na embodies Joanna, the eldest daughter of the association’s chairman. Raised in luxury, she carries an air of superiority, looking down on those around her with cold arrogance. Her flawless fashion sense and commanding presence perfectly capture the confidence of an heir apparent. However, one image shows a fleeting expression of shock, suggesting that even she may face unforeseen obstacles in her pursuit of power.

Lee Chae-min takes on the role of Jonathan, Joanna’s younger brother and the chairman’s youngest son. His casual attire and soft features initially suggest an unassuming personality, but his enigmatic expressions and sharp gaze betray a calculating mind. Hidden behind his calm facade is a merciless ambition to acquire superpowers, showing no qualms about intimidating or eliminating anyone in his way.

As siblings united by their hunger for power, Joanna and Jonathan both seek to dominate the Criminals’ Association while competing fiercely for the role of successor. This sibling rivalry promises to add intricate layers of intrigue to the ongoing conflict between heroes and villains.

Both characters were prominently showcased in the latest trailer for Cashero, alongside other key cast members including Kim Hye-jun as Kang Sang-ung’s pragmatic girlfriend Kim Min-suk, Kim Byung-chul as the alcohol-powered lawyer Byeon Ho-in, and Kim Hyang-gi as the calorie-fueled telekinetic Bang Eun-mi, amplifying anticipation for their menacing roles and the intense power dynamics to come.
