What is the Black Clover mobile game based on?

Black Clover M: Rise Of The Wizard King is based on its popular manga counterpart, whose writing and illustrations were done by Yuki Tabata. It first came out in 2015, and ever since then, it has released a total of 35 volumes, with no word on when the next volume is coming out. The official plot cover for the manga reads:

Asta is a young boy who dreams of becoming the greatest mage in the kingdom. Only one problem—he can’t use any magic! Luckily for Asta, he receives the incredibly rare five-leaf clover grimoire that gives him the power of anti-magic. Can someone who can’t use magic really become the Wizard King? One thing’s for sure—Asta will never give up!

The Black Clover manga has sold over 19 million copies to date, and given the game’s initial performance, it looks like it might be on a similar trajectory. If you are a fan of the series, then it’s worth checking the game out and seeing how Asta’s journey unfolds in it.
