Bandai Namco Entertainment has officially announced My Hero Academia: All’s Justice, an electrifying new 3D arena fighting game that dives into the climactic Final War arc of Kohei Horikoshi’s globally celebrated My Hero Academia franchise. Revealed during the Bandai Namco Summer Showcase 2025, the game is slated for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Developed by Byking, the studio behind the One’s Justice series, this latest installment promises to deliver a high-octane experience centered around the series’ epic conclusion.

The announcement, accompanied by a cinematic trailer brimming with intense action, showcased iconic characters like Izuku Midoriya (Deku), Katsuki Bakugo, All Might, Tomura Shigaraki, and Himiko Toga in their most powerful forms yet. The game is being crafted in close collaboration with the team producing the final season of the My Hero Academia anime, set to premiere in October 2025, ensuring a faithful adaptation of the series’ dramatic finale. While no specific release date was confirmed, speculation suggests a potential 2025 launch to align with the anime’s final season.

My Hero Academia: All’s Justice marks a significant evolution from its predecessors, My Hero Academia: One’s Justice (2018) and One’s Justice 2 (2020). For the first time in the franchise’s console gaming history, every student from U.A. High’s Class 1-A will be playable, allowing fans to control fan-favorites like Ochaco Uraraka, Shoto Todoroki, and others in their fully realized, battle-hardened forms from the Final War arc. The game’s roster will also include a wide array of Pro Heroes and Villains, with their Quirks—unique superpowers—brought to life through a refined battle system designed to push combat to new heights.

The game introduces a dynamic 3v3 battle format, enabling players to tag and swap between three characters during matches, chaining attacks for devastating combos. A new “Rising” system allows customization of characters’ Quirks, powers, and moves, reflecting their growth throughout the series. This feature aims to give players unprecedented control over their favorite heroes and villains, tailoring their abilities to match their strategic preferences. The trailer highlighted key matchups, including Deku versus Shigaraki and the Todoroki family facing off against Dabi, promising to recreate the anime’s most iconic battles with stunning visuals and game-exclusive cinematics.

The story mode of My Hero Academia: All’s Justice offers a fresh perspective on the Final War, presenting a narrative unique to the game while staying true to Horikoshi’s original work. Players will experience the emotional and world-shaking conflict between One For All and All For One from both hero and villain perspectives, immersing them in a cinematic journey that captures the intensity of the series’ conclusion. Producer Aoba Miyazaki emphasized the game’s expansive roster, noting that it includes “several characters that participated in the final battle,” all utilizing their signature techniques and forms as seen in the manga and anime.

Bandai Namco’s official description of the game encapsulates its ambitious scope:

Smash through My Hero Academia ’s final story arc and triumph over your foes in spectacular 3v3 battles! Follow Deku and the journeys of other characters in the Final War between Heroes and Villains, and experience the world-shaking, climactic clash between One For All and All For One in My Hero Academia: All’s Justice !
My Hero Academia: All’s Justice is the super-powered 3D arena fighter where your favorite characters from the My Hero Academia franchise appear in their latest and most powerful forms, framed within a Refined Battle System that showcases their Quirks to their limits!

The game’s development alongside the anime’s final season ensures a cohesive experience for fans, blending familiar story beats with exclusive content. While My Hero Academia: All’s Justice builds on the foundation of the One’s Justice series, its enhanced visuals, expanded roster, and refined mechanics aim to elevate the franchise’s presence in the gaming world. The trailer, though light on raw gameplay footage, teased a flashier presentation compared to previous titles, hinting at a more polished and immersive experience.
