Characters in the galaxy far, far away come and go that some of them return in the most unexpected way. While it has been years since the last movie of the franchise released, Daisy Ridley is already set to make her return as Rey in an upcoming movie. However, as for Adam Driver, he remains skeptic on whether he would be back as Kylo Ren or Ben Solo in Star Wars.

The Star Wars sequel trilogy introduced Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, the Jedi Killer and the Supreme Leader of the First Order. He was within the Skywalker bloodline being the child of General Han Solo and Princess Leia Organa and he later embraced his origin as Ben Solo when he returned to the light side. Despite his death in the sequel trilogy, Adam Driver still gets asked whether he would be back as Kylo Ren or Ben Solo and he remains skeptic about it in an interview on the Smartless podcast where he said, "They're doing stuff, but not with me. I'm not doing it anymore."

In the Star Wars lore, regardless of the death of a character, there are a lot of ways to get a character back to the screens like that of Anakin Skywalker being a Force Ghost in Ahsoka, Darth Maul who was cut in half in The Phantom Menace but was later restored, or Boba Fett who already got resurrected twice. The doors cannot be considered closed for Kylo Ren's return, too, because it is still possible.

There are a lot of possibilities on which project could Adam Driver could return as Kylo Ren in Star Wars. Shawn Levy is slated to have a Star Wars movie in the near future and as he worked with Adam Driver in This is Where I Leave You, his upcoming film can possibly be where Driver could come back as Kylo Ren. When Levy spoke with Variety in October 2023, he played coy on whether Driver could return to reprise his role, "Your words, not mine! As you know Adam is a buddy, and I’ve always been a huge fan of Kylo Ren. But no comment."

Daisy Ridley also has an upcoming Star Wars movie where she would be back as Rey in a film set 15 years after Rise of Skywalker. With Kylo Ren being the reason why she is still alive, a possible flashback or cameo appearance can be included. The possibilities are endless in the Star Wars universe.
